Hot chocolate fudge sauce (V) (G)
Adapted from Chocolate Fudge Sauce Recipe
(makes about 1 1/2 cups)
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon golden syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
200g dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces
- Combine the milk, cream, sugar, golden syrup and butter in a saucepan. Cook on the stove until the sugar has dissolved
- Add in the chopped chocolate and stir in until all the chocolate has dissolved, creating a thick luscious sauce.
- Once cooled slightly add in the vanilla essence. Stir to combine and the hot chocolate fudge sauce is ready to be eaten with just about everything!
