Rojak Bellamy
Location: Pernama PN 090, Jalan Bellamy, 50460 Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
*Rojak is a popular dish in Malaysia, believed to have originated in Malaysia from Penang (at least from what we know). To find a good rojak place in KL is actually not difficult, but to find one that holds the legendary status - this place may not be at the top of the list, but surely it is one of best.
Rojak Bellamy claims their rojak as "The best rojak in Kuala Lumpur & maybe in Malaysia!". That is one tough claim, but upon savoring its delicious rojak and other delicacies provided by them, you might just forget about arguing on the validity of the claim, but instead enjoy it and let the flavors tantalize your taste buds.
Price wise it is considered very cheap, since it is located right in the heart of KL. Considering their location, they might actually be one of the pioneers of rojak in KL earlier in the days. The shop can easily be found by going along Jalan Istana where the old Istana Negara (National Palace) is situated, and make a right turn before the main gate of the Istana itself marked as "Jalan Bellamy". You wont be lost.
Other food available is mostly of standard 'mamak' menu such as mee rebus, mee goreng mamak and nasi lemak ayam, but they do hold their own mark in delivering quality food. Combined with the affordable price and the relaxing environment, this is definitely the place to hang out with family & friends during weekend.
*Rojak - salad type dish that normally consists of fruits, vegetables, fried tofu and fried dumplings with a peanut sauce as the dressing.
